I have intermittent problems downloading PDF files from emails. It will work on one email--and then not work on the next.
I'm old school generation--find it very difficult if not impossible to troubleshoot my problems with written guidelines.
I need help. Please.

Downloading a PDF from an email to your computer, there's no involvement of Adobe products anywhere in this workflow. That could be an attachment issue or an email provider (for e.g., Outlook) itself.
If you use web email, change your browser, check the internet connectivity, and try again.
To be able to help you further, we need some more details like:
Are you using Adobe Acrobat or Reader application to load the .pdf files from Outlook? What exactly happening here? Does the PDF preview within Outlook looks ok?
