Unable to install Acrobat 9 in Windows 7 OS

I am trying to re-install Adobe Acrobat 9 in Windows 7 OS and on a PC. I can't get the product to install. I just get error messages that it is not responding. How do I get it installed? I installed it successfully before on the same computer. But when I subscribed to Adobe CC I just used the CC version of Acrobat and uninstalled Acrobat 9. Now that I have un-subscribed to the CC package, I can not re-install Acrobat 9. This is extremely frustrating.

Hi,

I am sorry for the delay in response.

You may see this behavior as Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Windows 7.

Adobe Acrobat system requirements

You may try removing traces of Acrobat using Cleaner tool from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  , restart the computer, and then try to install Acrobat.

Thank You,

Shivam
