I'm unable to install Acrobat Reader I get a message that reads 'Application initialization error'. I've tried the troubleshooting steps here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-reader-installation-windows.html and still get the same error. I'm on Windows 10. Is there anything else I can try?

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.
Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link

Hi there
Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/fix-install-download-reader.html and see if that works.
Also, try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
