Hi @SMolsbee1969

Are you trying to install using the installer, or are you trying to repair Adobe Acrobat?

Re-download the Installer:

The error might indicate that the installation files are corrupted or incomplete. Re-extracting or re-downloading the installer can resolve this:

  • Re-extract the Installer: If you’re installing from a compressed file (like a ZIP), try extracting the contents again to ensure all files are intact.
  • Re-download the Installer: If the installer was downloaded from the internet, it’s possible the download was corrupted. Download a fresh copy from your account.

2. Run the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool:

This tool helps in cleaning up corrupted installations and can resolve installation issues:

  • Download the Cleaner Tool: Visit Adobe’s official page to download the Acrobat Cleaner Tool.
  • Run the Tool: Follow the on-screen instructions to select and remove problematic Adobe installations.
  • Reinstall Acrobat: After running the cleaner tool, attempt to reinstall Adobe Acrobat.

3. Check for System-Specific Issues:

Sometimes, system configurations or other software can interfere with Adobe installations:

  • Temporarily Disable Antivirus Software: Some antivirus programs might mistakenly block certain installation files. During the installation process, temporarily disable your antivirus.
  • Ensure Sufficient Disk Space: Verify that you have enough disk space on your system drive for the installation.
  • Run as Administrator: Right-click the installer and select “Run as administrator” to ensure it has the necessary permissions.

Let us know how it works

I used the Acrobat cleaner Tool and reinstalled and it fixed it. Now I just keep having the (annoying) pop up wanting me to register or continue with the trial. I've registered before but for some reason, it doesn't like my registration number. I can click to close it out several times and it stays gone for a little bit but then reappears. Any suggestion on getting it to stop showing that pop-up?
