I get the 'Unabale to find"Adobe PDF" resource files' when I try to print using Excel 365. I can print and save to pdf using Word 365. Why is this happening?

Recommend you don’t try, instead use Save as Adobe PDF in Word/Excel.

Thanks for the input but I need to select specific worksheets within Excel to print, not just save the whole file.

This was not an issue until I reinstalled Adobe Acobate XI on a new lap top.

Acrobat XI is an old and unsupported version so it could have compatibility issues with the latest versions of Office, and even of Windows. Make sure you update it to the latest available version (11.0.23) and then try again.

Thanks, that is probably the best way to go.

Do I upgrade to Adobe Pro DC or the desktop version Adobe Pro 2017? I did not see how the DC version works with Office. Is that the case or did I just not see that it on the web page?

Don't be misled by the "Cloud" in DC. DC and 2017 are both desktop apps. DC has these differences

- it is subscription, not permanent license

- it includes all upgrades during the subscription (we might reasonably expect 2017 to get a paid upgrade fairly soon, or be discontinued)

- it includes some EXTRA cloud services

- it unlocks some iPad apps
