I have had several(around 8) users that just this past week are not able to print PDFs from Acrobat Reader. They can print from any other app on their machine, just not Adobe. They can even save the PDF in adobe, open it in chrome and print the PDF from there.
The only solution Ive found is to completely uninstall Adobe and reinstall the application, which fixes it for about a day before it breaks again.
I need a permanent solution as I administer 140 computers across the country and usually when a group starts having issues like this, it soon becomes a company wide issue needing fixed on every computer.

I am very interested in this as well as I have started seeing the same behavior.
If I uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and reinstall it works fine.
Because it installs 32 bit by default in the installer after a day or so it automatically updates to 64 Bit, and then printing fails.
Additional items notice:
1. When you go to FILE-PRINT you no longer see the ability to turn off Print on Both sides
2. If you try to press the PROPERTIES (Next to the selected printer)button, it does not respond.
3. If you open in a browser it works fine.
I have 2 users experiencing this issue, and about 20 others who haven't tested yet.
Any updates would be appreciated.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and reporting this.
Could you please confirm the Acrobat Reader DC and OS version on the machine?
What happens when you try to print? Do you receive any error messages?
It would be helpful if you can share a video of the issue with us.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Basically, I get tickets from user saying they can print everywhere else on their computer except for adobe. I log in, hit print, sure enough, doesnt print. Go to control panel, test page prints fine, open PDF in chrome, prints fine. Uninstall adobe, restart, delete adobe folders in prog. files, prog. files x86, app data(all 3 folders in there, local roaming etc) basically nuke the entire program off the machine. I think reboot again after emptying recycle bin and reinstall. I then can print, for about a day. The main difference I notice is when printing is working(on the fresh install) there is a loading bar that goes after you hit print, and then it prints. After the 24 hours-ish of being reinstalled, it no longer does the loading bar and will not print.
This is now for 12 of my 140 apartment complex leasing offices I administrate.

its not showing my latest reply so here I go again.
I get a ticket saying that a user cannot print from adobe, but can print anywhere else, ie: word, browsers etc. The only way ive found to fix it is to do a full uninstall, delete all the program files and appdata, restart and reinstall. it then will print for about a day before it doesnt work again.
the difference i can see is when it is working, when you hit print you get a loading bar right before it prints. when it isnt printing the loading bar doesnt pop up.
this is now effecting 12 of my end user's machines across the nation, with different hardware but all windows 10 and the latest version of acrobat DC

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the delay in response and to keep you waiting.
Do you have TrendMicro security software installed on your system? If yes, please try to update it and make sure you have the latest version installed and reboot the computer once and check.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards
Amal
