I purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro several years ago. My old computer DIED and there is no way for me to deactivate the application on this computer. I was able to download my old Adobe Acrobat XI Pro with my serial number on my NEW computer, however, just days after doing this, I'm getting a message: "The serial number XXXXX is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer within 15 days to use this product." HOW DO I DO THIS? I don't want to purchase another adobe product as I had no problems with the Acrobat XI Pro -- I didn't need any updates to that program. I signed into my Adobe account and tried to deactivate my old computer but it is not even listed. If this is a way for Adobe to make me purchase another program...I'm not happy!

Unfortunately, no. Even if you could, Adobe disabled the activation servers for Acrobat XI, so it won't work anyway.

Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
As correctly mentioned above by our expert, that the Activation server for the Acrobat 11 is no longer available, as the product is an End of support product and support for Adobe Acrobat 11.x and Adobe Reader 11.x ended on October 15, 2017. For more details, please see this article: https://adobe.ly/4hgI1jX
Adobe strongly recommends that you update to the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Reader. By updating installations to the latest versions, you benefit from the latest functional enhancements and improved security measures.
I hope this information helps.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
