Hi all,
I am using Adobe Acrobat XI Standard (11.0.23). Recently I tried to add my company logo (changing the watermark) to my digital signature following the guideline in this link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/DigSigDC/appearances.html.
However, I am unable to sign pdf document after I saved SignatureLogo.pdf in C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\(version)\Security.
Below is the error I received.
I am missing something here or there are hidden steps that I am not aware of?
Thank you for your supports.
Then is something wrong with this PDF file. Have you created it with Illustrator?
Hi Bernd
All's working good now. Problem is the PDF file. I created another file using Illustrator and problem solved. Thanks a bunch.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you are getting the above error message when trying to sign the PDF
Please check out the steps shared in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error-creation-signature-could-completed.html and see if that works for you.

Hi Amal,
Thank you for your support. I tried the link you sent and found that:
- Re-create the digital ID didn't help. Still received same error.
- Unable to rename Crypto folder, the following error code received.
Appreciate if you could provide other solutions.

Hi Bernd
I do not have Illustrator on my computer so I converted company logo from PNG to PDF. Not sure what is the difference between a PDF file created by Illustrator vs. other normal PDF file.
As I understood from the instruction "Import a logo or create a new one in a program such as Adobe Illustrator."
