Unable to validate serial number of acrobat Xi Pro.

After completing installation process, I am unable to validate my serial number. System says that my acrobat version is too old. I purchased this full version in 2017. I did not install at that time, as I was happy with my earlier versions (with massively scalable thumbnail pages). Now Windows 10 has ended my past connections to those useful, earlier versions. Is there a workaround for validating my serial number and completing my install?

What do you mean by "System says that my acrobat version is too old"? That's not an error message I'm familiar with. Does it maybe say that you require a license of a previous full version? Post a screenshot or the exact text of the message you're getting.

During the "serial number validation" screen at the end of the installation process, I select the validate button. The system responded with a statement that I am not connected to the internet (which was not the case). The system offers off-line methods for "temporary offline" and "permanently offline" methods, where request codes and response codes are created. I am unable to re-create the exact screen that referenced my "too old" version, but I am also not able to manually add the serial number in my account profile. When I try to manually register the program through my account I get "The provided serial number is invalid", where in the past it offered more information, that indicated that older versions could not be registered.
