in trying to update Acrobat Pro DC I get "Error 2302" which then fails to update. any clue?

Hi,
Sorry to hear about the trouble caused.
The error message 2302 is received when trying to update the application from or within the Acrobat itself, or you are running the Creative Cloud desktop application too?
Try the following steps:
1- Reboot your computer
2- Quit the CC desktop app if it's open
3- Launch Acrobat DC>help>check for update
if this doesn't work, then close the Acrobat first and try installing the update manually from this release notes: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html
