If you’re running an update in the background without my knowledge and then show a dialog box saying, 'We are doing an update, please wait...' with only an 'OK' button, there should be an alternative—something like 'Not OK'—especially if the update is disrupting my work. Today, I had to reboot just to get out of a seemingly endless update. If I didn't initiate the update, I should have the option to cancel it. Many programs download updates quietly in the background and let you choose to install them when you restart the program (or not), and that works fine. But showing 'Unexpected Updating Happening...' with just an 'OK' isn’t acceptable when it wasn’t OK. Thanks!

Hi @Jim28665500iz9f,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
Please share your feedback here: https://adobe.ly/49NvlP3 to ensure it reaches our devs for review and future implementations.
Meanwhile, if needed, you can disable automatic updates by going to Menu-> Preferences-> Updater-> uncheck the checkbox saying "Automatically install updates."
