New Here ,

Is there a way to update a shared adobe acrobat link? I sent a pdf to a client for proofing and they made comments and I want to update the pdf with the new information without sending a whole new link.

Hi @defaultst7qaew96rov,

Thanks for reaching out.

I understand how important it is to be able to update a shared link without changing the URL—especially when working with multiple stakeholders. Currently, Adobe Acrobat does not support updating an already shared link with a new version of the file. Each time you share a file, a new link is generated.

As a workaround, you might consider:

•Using Adobe Document Cloud: If the file is stored in Document Cloud, you can provide access to a shared folder instead of a single link. This way, users can always access the latest version.

I understand this may not be the ideal solution, but I’ll pass along this feedback to the team. Let me us if you have any other questions!
