Dear all,
A. Situation
I currently have Acrobat 2015 perpetual installed on Windows 10.
I just purchased a full Acrobat 2020 perpetual license.
B. Question
B1. If i now run the (new) 2020 installer, will it detect the 2017 installation and ask me wheter I would like to upgrade?
B2. Or do I have to uninstall v2015 and freshly install v2020?
C. Remark
This is not about the eligibility of upgrading 2015 to 2020 because I have a full new version.
Thanks for your support
Mr. S.

B2 would be the most prudent course.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

It will probably overwrite it automatically. I would recommend uninstalling it first, though.

Deear try67, thanks for your suggestion.
Here is my tough problem:
1. I opened Acrobat DC2015, signed out and uninstalled voa control center.
2. Installed Acrobat 2020 Pro Multilingual. No problem so far
3. Launched Arobat and signed in.
4. After a few minutes, it asks me for a serial numer again, I enter it and it askes me for signing in again.
5. Caught in endless loop because No 4 starts over and over again.
6. Followed the steps at https://helpx.adobe.com/de/download-install/kb/acrobat-repeatedly-prompts-for-sign-in.html
7. Makes no difference, I still get No,. 4/5
8. Any idea how to resolve? I would be delighted

Try running this tool after uninstalling the application:
