Users having issue attaching email

Working with a user, computer is running Windows 10, Outlook is version 2016 and Acrobat is version 2017.  When clicking on the mail icon, the user receives an error stating that a profile needs created in Outlook.  We have verified that Outlook is set as the default mail application in Acrobat and also in Windows as well.  We also performed a full uninstall and reinstall of Acrobat, same issue, as well as created a new profile in Outlook.  Any ideas what the issue could be?  Thank you for your help!

Make sure the mailto protocol is set to the desired application. You can find this in the Windows preferences.
