I'm fairly new to this and don't know anything about java code. Using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
I'm trying to create a budget table with fields: income, expense, net income, bills, savings, disposable income.
I created the fields and had the net calclate as income-expense, bills as net*.5, savings as net*.25 and disposable income as net*.25 which worked great. But, when I attempted to place multiple fields for additional months the fields were renamed as income.1, income.2, income.3 and the simplified field notation doesn't recognize income.1 as a field so I have had to manually change them to incomeA, incomeB, incomeC, which worked but is tedious. I guess my question is three parts 1) is there some comination of parenthesis or brackets that will allow it to recognize fields with decimals and numbers in it? 2) is there a way to change the auto naming of the field to be alphabetic rather than numerical? and 3) is there an easier way to do this that I can't see/lack the skills for?
In the notation try:
income\.1
