Viewing files from a Sharepoint folder in Acrobat Pro app by default.

Hi Team

If I install Acrobate Pro as an app in my Office 365 account will this allow me to open Acrobate doscuments from a sharepoint folder in the Acrobate pro App and not the web browser, which is the current situation.

I understand that changing the default Sharepoint view from Browser to App only works for Office365 apps currently, and that currently this feature is not supported for this third party apps like Acrobate Pro?

@Mysticpete that is correct. Installing Adobe Acrobat Pro as an "app" within your Office 365 account does not directly change SharePoint's default behavior for opening PDF files. SharePoint's integration and default handling are primarily designed for Microsoft's own Office 365 applications
