Visible but doesn't print field issue

Hi,

I have a field marked as visible but doesn't print on my form; it lets me type the information once, but it disappears and won't allow me to edit the text once I click out of the field. When I go back to the editor mode, the field is hidden even though I had it saved as visible, but it doesn't print. 

Please help!

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the visible marked field doeesn't print nor it let you edit the text after you entered it.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check? If the file is stored on a shared network drive please download it to your computer first and check again.

Also please share the PDF file with us so that we can check it at our end.

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed go to help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if that works.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there.

Also while printing the file  under comments and forms select 'Documents and markups' and see if that helps.
