Hallo goril65227104,

As per the description above, the Adobe Printer disappears every 2-3 days, Is that correct?

Normally, this should not happen, to know the root cause, we may work on assumption that there "may" be a domain  policy which is trying to delete the printer.

You may try to restart the computer in a time span of 1 or 2 hours to check or can check with your IT how often the Group policy refreshes. Then we will get a clear picture that is  what time span the printer is disappearing.

You may also check for any pending updates of Acrobat/Reader Help>Check for updates. Download and install the updates and reboot the machine.

You can also uninstall Acrobat/Reader using Adobe Acrobat Cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs Link: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Restart the computer and then download and install the latest Acrobat/Reader from Overview — Acrobat and Adobe Reader Release Notes Link: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotes/index.html

Hope this helps, and let us know how it goes.

Eugenia

Sorry, but I do not quite understand your problem as it is badly described. May be you should try to reformulate in your local language and we use the translate feature... if we do not understand your language.

Please include also the operating system and VMWare version in addition to your Acrobat version.

Hallo Abambo,

I have a similar issue but repair is no longer fixing this issue.. only an complete removal and reinstall and it varies as to how long that fix lasts.. I have had to go with 3rd party PDF printing solutions as a work around until I can find a solution. Unfortunately this worthless forum is my only option.  Most of the threads are referring to Reader and in some cases I never get a response from my posts.  Below is my post from another thread:

Hello,

I am having a growing issue that is now starting to affect a larger group of my users and I need an answer before it gets out of hand.  I have a group of users that had at one time a PDF printer from Adobe on their computers but now cannot seem to keep them they just disappear.

I have tried with little to no success to re-install Acrobat DC and it works for a day or two at most a week and then it disappears again.

We are working primarily in a VDI VMware environment and I am not sure if this is because they are virtual machines or not but it seems to be the case, as other local P.C. installs do not seem to have the same issue.  I need this to work in the virtual environment if at all possible and would appreciate any help with this issue.

please let me know if further information is needed.

I appreciate any help with this issue.

Thanks,

Jon

Thanks to anyone who can help it sounds like I am not alone finally!

Thanks,

Jon
