New Here ,
Dec 20, 2009 Dec 20, 2009

I need help in installing Acrobat 7.0 Pro to Windows 7 Pro (64-bits).  I get a Warning 20225.  Is there a way for me to install Acrobat 7.0 on this new system???

I also AcroTray File in use and can't update.

I would appreciate any help possible on this issue.

Thank You,

G

Bon dias G,
For Windows 7, you'll want Acrobat 9.2.
Adobe identifes that previous releases of Adobe Reader and Acrobat may install and run in Windows 7 but that these were not tested and will not be supported by Adobe in Windows 7.

Look over the following for details:
http://www.adobe.com/support/OScompatibility.html  (Adobe Product OS Compatibility List)
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/faq/   (Acrobat FAQ re: Windows 7)

As to 64-bit -
Support starts with Acrobat 8.1
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/333/333360.html  <Support policy for Adobe Acrobat 8.x (Windows x64) >

Be well...

Since you have Win7 PRO, you may use this to run old software
