Weird characters 0F added to footnotes when converting to PDF from Word 365

When converting to PDF a Word document some weird characters (0F, 1F, 2F, etc.) are inserted in footnotes:

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

If you still experience the issue, would you mind sharing a few pieces of information for further investigation:

1. The app version of Acrobat you use;

2.  The OS and its version;

3. A screen recording video of the workflow you are following when creating a PDF from word, so we can try and reproduce in house.
