Hi,
I have run the PDFX-1A conformace in Acrobat XI and Save it as new PDF. If i check the Custom tab in document properties i am getting two conformances.
1. GTS_PDFVersion: PDF/X-1:2001
2. GTS_PDFConformance: PDF/X-1a:2001
Why the above PDF/X-1:2001 is showing and what is it for?
Thanks,
Santhosh
No, you are getting only one conformance. PDF/X-1a. The reasons for this are historical. 18 years ago, you might have found a PDF/X-1 file that was not PDF/X-1a, but today only PDF/X-1a is still used (and that is considered almost obsolete, except by the people still using it).

See the Wikiapedia PDF/X article for this information. It has to do with the embedding of fonts and the format of the colors.

The value of the GTS_PDFXConformance key in a PDF/X1a conforming file shall be (PDF/X-1a:2001). "
So your file is correct. Anything else would be wrong, and rejected.
