Hi grkboy100,

Open the Word file that you wish to convert to PDF, then click on Acrobat ribbon provided on the Menu bar.

Go to Preferences > Settings and check the box for "Add Links".

Click on the "OK" tab below and then click on create PDF under Acrobat ribbon.

Let us know if you experience any issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi

The steps mentioned in Meenakshi's comment work only on Windows Office.

Since you are on Mac, these won't work for you.

Can you tell which Office and Acrobat version you are using on Mac?

Thanks

Tanvi

I am using MacOffice 2011, Acrobat Reader 2015 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.

Hi Bill

Acrobat 9 is quite an old version and link creation is not supported by it.

You would need to upgrade to Acrobat DC to use this feature.

Alternatively, you can subscribe to Create PDF service on Reader and create PDF from it. It would also have hyperlinks.

Thanks

Both Apache OpenOffice.org and Libre Office are available for many operating systems including the Macintosh and can export links. Both products are free download and accept donations.

This is a very open an public forum, posting most personal information is discouraged.
