when saving edited pdf file, told it can't be saved & need to change name/file location

Recently updated Acrobat to latest version. Now when saving an editable file that was opened, a dialog box is displayed saying I have to change location &/or name of the file. The name of the file in the save dialog is <garbage>.tmp    Acrobat is default for pdf files.

In older versions, I could click on Save and it did.

Is this a "feature" of latest version? When will this be fixed?
