Hi, I badly need to be able to convert dxf or pdf or dwg to CCITT T.6 (group 4) to have on drawings, is there a software for this?
Group 4 compression - Wikipedia
CCITT Group 4 compression, also referred to as G4 or Modified Modified READ (MMR), is a lossless method of image compression used in Group 4 fax machines defined in the ITU-T T.6 fax standard. It is only used for bitonal (black-and-white) images. Group 4 compression is based on the Group 3 two-dimensional compression scheme (G3-2D), also known as Modified READ, which is in turn based on the Group 3 one-dimensional compression scheme (G3), also known as Modified Huffman coding. Group 4 compression is available in many proprietary image file formats as well as standardized formats such as TIFF, CALS, CIT (Intergraph Raster Type 24) and the PDF document format.

CCITT T.6 isn't a file format by itself. It's a way of compressing 1-colour images used in several file formats.
Do you mean
- images in the PDF are to be in CCITT T.6 (though they will look just the same)?
- you want a TIFF file, made using CCITT T.6 compression?
- some kind of fax related file format?
- something else?
Thanks for answering.
It's our PLM-system for CAD drawings that can't handle anything but images with CCITT T.6 compression and it could so bad that its only TIFF with CCITT T.6 compression. So I believe its the "- you want a TIFF file, made using CCITT T.6 compression?" alternative I'm looking for.
So, is there a software that can make TIFF with CCITT T.6 compression from pdf? we can recive also dxf or dwg, some autocad format.
What I want to do is to paste the suppliers drawing into the Catia/Enovia drawing and this looks bad or isn't even working if not the TIFF CCITT T.6 format is used.
