Why am I unable to copy javascript from a word doc and paste into custom calc scripting tab?

I've never had a problem doing this.  My co-workers can do it just fine with no issues.  Did something change in my preferences?

Do NOT use Word as a code editor. It changes characters behind the scenes in ways that will break your code.

Only use a plain-text editor. If you're on Windows I highly recommend Notepad++.

Hi,

Is it just from word that the problem is? I would recommend you use a code editor rather than word, such as visual studio code, or many others.

I've tried copy/pasting text from other sources with no success, reviewed my word cut/paste settings and mirrored with my co-workers.   My guess is I might need to uninstall/re-install to fix a possible bug?

What happens when you use a external script editor for Acrobat?

Notepad seemed to be the resolution to my copy/paste scripting issue.  Thank you!
