Right click on a PDF file and select to show Info, then change the application that is associated with this file AND select to apply the change to all files of this type.

I'm using Monterey and have the same problem. When I right-click on the filename, "show info" does not show up. as an option.

I'm using Monterey and have the same issue, that "show info" doesn't show up when I right-click on the pdf filename. Is there an older version of Adobe Reader available? Thanks.
