Why aren't Acrobat updates showing up in the Creative Cloud app?

Hi all. I’m running Acrobat v25.001.20630. It’s always been tricky to know when updates are out. I know you can manually check inside Acrobat, but it doesn’t always show an update. And unlike the CC app, there’s no update popup or alert, nor does it appear alongside PS or PremPro in View Updates.

Is there a way to update Acrobat directly from the CC app with the others? If not, could this be added in a future update? It’d make it easier to keep all apps updated together and be notified easier.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out and sharing your feedback.

I understand how it can be confusing to track Acrobat updates compared to other Creative Cloud apps.

Currently, Acrobat updates are managed a bit differently. You can manually check for updates from Help > Check for updates inside Acrobat. Unlike Photoshop or Premiere Pro.

Your suggestion is valuable. Having Acrobat updates appear and be managed directly through the Creative Cloud Desktop app, just like the other apps, would definitely make the update process simpler and more consistent. I’ll make sure to pass your feedback along to the team.

In the meantime, you may also track the updated using the link https://adobe.ly/3VgGyB0

Thanks

Amal

Hi Amal,

Thanks so much for passing along that feedback. I really hope they consider adding it in future, it truly would be a great quality of life change.

Just curious, I ever had any other feedback about Acrobat or any other Adobe app, is there a website I can submit it to? To save annoying you lovely folks with forum posts 😅

Thanks again!

Jason

Hi Amal,

The link doesn't seem to be working. It keeps giving me a 404 "Page Not Found" error.
