why cant i measure a circle?

does anyone know what plug-in I need to be able to measure a circle?

How do you want to measure it? Diameter? Area? Circumference?

The 2D measuring tools should be able to do what you need. Unfortunately, they are polygon based, so to measure the area or circumference, you'd need to do a lot of clicking... But you could measure the diameter and then plugin it into the appropriate math formula to convert it to area.

That is what I have done in other programs.  For some reason the "perimeter tool" will only allow me to go in 90 degree angles.  Any ideas of what is wrong?
