My Adobe Pro DC stopped allowing me to Edit the file. So, if I want to change wording within the actual document or page numbers I can no longer do so. I am also getting weird messages when I try to update the program it tells me, "Failed to load an application resource (internal error).
Note: The blue ball at the top of the screen, that when you click it has my name, has no other information in it. I swear it had additional info. before. Also, I'm using a Mac Pro.
Thanks to anyone who has time to help me.

Hi Michellepblue,
We would like to know if you have made any recent changes to the computer or application itself? Did you install the latest patch of Acrobat DC and started experiencing this problem?
Could you please check the exact version of Adobe Acrobat DC. Open Acrobat>Acrobat>About Acrobat DC and check the dot version. DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products
Check if there is any update is pending. Open Acrobat>Help>Check for Update and let us know if that makes a difference.
If nothing works, then you may try uninstalling the application using cleaner tool (as suggested above) and reinstall it

I would suggest using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs to remove an Acrobat DC corrupted install, then reinstall Acrobat DC.

Hello Akanchha,
Thank you for reaching out. Yes I received a another email from Adobe support and followed the instructions. I was able to get my Acrobat DC functioning again.
I don’t know/remember what I did that initially started the issue. My guess is that it was one of the resent updates. When I tried to do an update to fix the issue, initially, I would get a warning "Failed to load an application resource (internal error)." I’ve had the issue for about 2+ months and have been ignoring it. I finally had to take on the issue and called our company support first and they were unable to assist and suggested I go to you guys directly. I waited on the phone for nearly one hour and thought I would not get this resolved. I appreciate that you did follow through with suggestions via my post. THANK YOU!
Happy Holidays,
Michelle

Hi,
I probably did install the latest patch of Acrobat DC and started experiencing the problem. I usually do update when I get one. I didn’t realize it at the time that a recent update was the issue. I received a response from someone else already and I did have to uninstall and reinstall.
My most current Version is now up to date, snapshot below. I removed my previous version and reinstalled per instructions sent to me resulting from my question, “Why did my Adobe Pro stop allowing me to edit?” Prior to fixing the issue I had tried to do an update and it would not allow me to. I got a pop-up, which I no longer remember what it said, sorry. But I believe the issue is fixed now. I was able to edit a resent document.
Thank you all for being so diligent.
Michelle
