Why does Adobe Acrobat keep crashing?

Acrobat keeps crashing from time to time.  Not every day, but a few times a week - enough to be annoying.

Quite often it struggles to open small PDFs that free readers like Google Chrome have no problem with, which rather makes me question what we are paying for.

Is there any chance you can improve your software to make it more reliable?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat and the delayed response.

If you still experience the issue, would you mind changing a few settings in the preferences and checking if it helps:

Go to Preferences-> Page Display-> Use Page cache-> restart Acrobat.

You may also try resetting the preferences of the application to the default: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to defaul
