Why does the Acrobat Pro Install take so long? Why does adobe crash so often?

I would like to know why the Pro install takes hours and hours.. Why is Acrobat so Buggy, and why since release in 1993 has this program not been perfected?

This is the 3rd time I've installed it on another computer and it literally takes longer to install and update than any other program I've ever installed, and I mean EVER.

How big is the installation file with updates? I have giga internet speeds and it seems like the updates are like 500gb or something. Is it the Adobe servers? This is freaking ridiculous...

I have a great laptop too. I have a Legion 7i 4060 32gb with a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700HX 2.10 GHz

This makes no sense and I would love to have these questions answered. It seems like such a trivial program to freeze constantly and take sometimes days to update.

Can anyone give me hope for the future of this program? It has all of the features I need to view and edit PDF's and wouldn't be able to do work easily without it. Like holy CRAP this program was released in freaking 1993 and I KNOW it has all the funding it needs to perfect such simple tasks.

What system do I need to run this program perfectly because it drives me friggin bonkers when it freezes and I loathe getting a new system because I know that this program installation will be the most stressful part of getting a new rig.

just and rant.. BUT I would love some answers to these questions.

It's all the AI, advertising, tracking and "modernizing" that customers don't even want. Some probably want the AI but it should be an option to turn on and not built in. Everyone I've talked to absolutely hates the recent changes to the UI of both Reader and Acrobat.
