I installed Acrobat DC quite a while ago. Yet, it does not show up as an installed app on my Adobe Creative Cloud App. It shows up as a purchased app in my profile, and it runs fine on my desktop, but next to the icon in the Creative Cloud app, it has a "Try" button instead of an "Update" or "Open" button.

if you have a photographers subscription, that includes lightroom and photoshop (and bridge and camera raw) that should show an 'install' button. the other programs (including acrobat dc) should show a 'try' button so you can use a 1 week trial to determine if you want to start a subscription for one of those other programs.

do you have an acrobat subscription for acrobat dc, or perpetual license for acrobat 2017?

I guess I don't. I thought Acrobat DC was part of the CC suite along with photoshop and lightroom. I assume from what you are saying, that I have to have a separate subscription for Acrobat DC.
