Recently migrated from SP13 to SPO. Using our migration tool, all of the Metadata has carried over properly. However, when users have been opening the files via a link (rather than directly from the document library), the title of the document is incorrect. I have checked the file in the document library and all of it's properties are correct. Opening the document from the library also presents correct metadata, but when I open the file from a hyperlin on one of our pages, it opens with incorrect Title metadata. Any suggestions?
Note: Here it's convenient that both items are training guides, but this is also happening with documents that are not nearly as closely related.

What app does you use to view the document?

Both ways are in-browser (we're required to use Edge). Clicking through the document library (the way that works) opens up the file in an adobe URL (see the picture below), whereas clicking the link (the way with the messed up metadata) opens in a SharePoint link.
Thanks for your interest!

I'm sorry, do you want me to go through the properties when the document is open, or what I see when I open the properties from the document library. Either way, please see the initial screenshot. The leftmost image is of the properties as listed in the document library, the middle image is of the properties in the adobe link, and the rightmost image is of the properties displayed in the sharepoint link.

Hi, I'm unsure why my previous reply isn't showing up, but I'll repeat it here.
When I downloaded the document and opened it in Adobe per your instructions, I found that the document's metadata was wrong on the document itself. I alerted the original author of the issue, and she's working on it. I suspect that she reused the original document as a template but didn't know the metadata wouldn't change automatically. Thank you for all your help!
