Zoom settings resets to Top Left Corner when switching pages.

I have a PDF document where sometimes I'd like to zoom in on a specific detail and switch pages while staying on the exact zoom settings/location. What happens is, acrobat resets my zoom and places the magnification box at the top left corner every time I change the page—forcing me to go back and pan or zoom to get back to where I want to look. It's frustrating. Is there a way to fix this?
