A problem in converting a word file containing a table to PDF

I have a problem in converting a word file containing a table to PDF. I commonly find that some of the table borders are lost! That is especially seen when some of the table cells are shaded with a color. Can you help me in getting a PDF document exactly the same as the word document, without loosing any of the table borders. Thank you.
