Hello.
I was trying to find a possible reason for an abnormally long installation (product supposed to be deployed on our network).
Command-line used
---
AcroRdrDC1801120040_MUI.exe /sAll /msi DISABLE_ARM_SERVICE_INSTALL="1" /L*v C:\AcroRdrDC.18.011.20040.log
Log extract

MSI (s) (A4:F0) [16:45:00:275]: Invoking remote custom action. DLL: C:\Windows\Installer\MSI826.tmp, Entrypoint: AddTask ARM Installer logging: : Entered AddTask ARM Installer logging: : SetTask: Add ARM Installer logging: : AddUserLoggonTrigger... ARM Installer logging: : Cannot put EndBoundary MSI (s) (A4:B0) [19:50:41:361]: Executing op: ActionStart(Name=InstallFinalize,,) ARM Installer logging: : Success registered Task! |
Is there a reason why the ARM Installer could take so long? Shouldn't the disabling of the ARM installer avoid this part of the installation?
Thanks in advance for any insight anyone could help me with.
