Hi

We are experiencing a problem in Acrobat Reader 2021 on a few pc's.

When the user opens the app, it prompts them to log in to Adobe cloud and then gives the message that they don't have access to this service.

They don't have access to the full Adobe Acrobat, but how is this linked to Acrobat reader, to my knowledge, Acrobat Reader is for free?

Has anyone a fix/explanation for this?

Regards

Edwin

Hi @Edwin de Villiers

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue description that on some users' PCs they are getting a message that they don't have access to this service. It could be because the Acrobat Reader DC which is freeware shows some tools which are a part of paid Acrobat DC subscription. If users select those it then start installing the Acrobat DC with a free trial.

Here is an FAQ on Acrobat Reader DC: https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/faq.html

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh
