Acrobart DC read aloud doesn't work

Hi I just downloaded the latest version Acrobat reader DC from your site tonight and activated the read out loud and it doesn't work? I sincerely hope you don'tr take this the wrong way. I'm using a brand new laptop a couple months old I don't have the spare time to look through hundreds of questions and answers and try 95 suggestions that might fix the issue. It's bad enough that Windows 10 has more flaws than users and it's number one. And now the fools at Windows want everyone to go to 11 and they cant even fix 10 after all these years. If there is a simple fix for the reader please let me know. I'm sure this sounds terribly rude but I'm not intendeng to be rude. I have Microsoft PDF reader and it works great but I hate everything about Microsoft and Bill the killer vaccine of death pusher Gates. It's my understanding Adolbe is the best there is so please help and if there isn't a simple fix just say sorry can't help you and I'll move along no hard feelings. 1. Application version?

2. Is it happening wtih a particular PDF or with all PDFs?

Make sure that the app is up to date.
