Acrobat DC for CC fails installation ....

I have been trying to download Acrobat DC for CC and it keeps failing with an "Exit code 7"

I have tried the work arounds at this page Error exit code 6, exit code 7 installing Adobe Creative Cloud

and it hasn't helped. I was chatting to one of the support team online and it cut out so had no resolve. My case number is ADB-3192300-N7W2https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7-cc.html

this is the full error: 

Exit Code: 7

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW003, DW006 ...

We're sorry for the trouble you had with the installation of Acrobat Pro, please reboot the machine once, and use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove any corrupt and previously installed files of Acrobat from the machine Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Reboot the machine again and try installing Acrobat from Download Adobe Acrobat DC (Continuous) for Enterprise or VIP licenses

If you still experience any issue, please contact the Acrobat Technical support team directly so that they can schedule a remote session to investigate further and assist you in a better manner Contact Customer Care
