Acrobat fails every time I try to open it with an error message "Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server"

Could I please get some help with this?

Thanks.

You may look at this previous thread on the issue: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server

Also, no need to post twice. Your question has already been moved to these forums.

So I know about that thread.  It has multiple suggestions and different problems and I have read through them.  There is nothing in that thread that helps me as that is for Windows 7 and I am on Windows 10.  I posted twice because I was not confident there was any visibility because of the move to my original issue  Apololigies if I messed anything up.  But I am really blocked because I can't open any PDF files.  Do you have any thought about my issue?

Thanks.

The only thing that comes to mind is, completely remove your install of Reader using the Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner tool then reinstall using the full installer found here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Ok, this is new information and I'll try it.  Thank you!

Good luck. I know it has worked for a few people with the same issues.
