I've tried to open Adobe and get the following error message after about 5 min or so:

Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.

I am unable to open files.

I read the other posts on this and tried the open with and it didn't work -

Any idea's on how to resolve?

Just fixed this myselk. Please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1029593. Works well as you deactivate and then reboot and reactivate your product, simple as. Hope this helps
