Acrobat failed to connect to DDE Server

New Here ,
Mar 18, 2020 Mar 18, 2020

Hello.

We are currently facing this issue, when upgrading to the newest Adobe Reader version.
We found out, that the issue is a wrong/not updated registry value:

"HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application"

The Value for "Standard" is AcroViewR19
It works with AcroViewR20 so i assume a not correctly updated installer is the issue.

Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone???

Is nobody using DDE calls via 3rd party-SW?

Anyone from Adobe support? I mean, this has to be a global issue...
