Every time I use the extended search, Acrobat Pro DC crashes at some point. I already reinstalled, but the problem persists.

Here's the Report: Process: AdobeAcrobat [32070] Path: /Application - Pastebin.com

(I'm using MacOS)

Has anyone an idea how to fix this?

Hello Meenakshi,

I just performed these steps but nothing worked. But I might have found the problem: As I disable the accessibility functionality, Acrobat stops crashing.

Kind regards,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

As the application crashes, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned here Troubleshoot Mac OS 10.x system errors, freezes | Adobe software.

Check if that helps.

If that does not help, try to reset the application preferences.

Take help of the steps mentioned here How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

If the issue still persists, run the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs on your machine.

Then restart our machine and re-install the application from here Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know how it goes.

Please feel free to update the thread if you still experience the issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi
