Hi iacopoa54188709,

Could you please let me know the version of Reader installed on the computers?

Which Operating System you have on the machine?

Do you see any error message when Reader crashes?

I don't know... DC.ink? could it be?

I have windows 10 on my PC and at work... I don't know...

Something seems to be opened (like a message) but then it's hidden and I can't see the message. But that locks Adobe reader and I can't keep working

Assuming you are able to access Reader's option, try to repair Reader DC and see if that works.

Launch Reader>click on Help menu>select Repair Installation.

Also, you can check the Reader's version under Help menu.

Select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC under Help

Try to follow below mention steps:

1- Under Help menu>click Check for Updates

2- If that doesn't work, download and run Cleaner tool from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

3- Restart the computer.

4- Download and install Reader DC from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution  (select the operating system, language, and version from the drop down options)

Does Reader crashes when you select any tool in Reader like Comment?

I know you guys are trying to help but we have the same issue on some users in our office starting after this update.  They are running 32bit Windows 7 and we are using SAP and they are trying to view invoices which pull up as PDFs and they won't pull up, instead it crashes with "The instruction at 0x5f93525c referenced memory at 0x00000000.  The memory could not be read."  I'm going to guess if you were to just test this new update on various machines in your office you could probably duplicate it.

I will try to do it. Just to explain: the crash usually happens when I try to underline in yellow some sentences of a text. After a while, it crashes BUT: I found a solution saving almost all the time: I underline let's say 3 lines and then save and so on. Doing like that it doesn't crash but it isn't confortable...

Thank you for email We already found a solution. Uncheck the

compatibility box and it works fine. Otherwise it defaults to Windows 7

and the program crashes.

Thank you,
