Acrobat Reader - FAILURE TO LAUNCH

I've had issues for a couple of years and my work around has been to open pdf files in firefox, chrome, or another browser but isn't a good option for things I need.    I've created a video to show when I install, after using the acrobat tool to completely uninstall and rebooting, the location I tell the software to install is being ignored so it seems multiple things are going on.  I've had the "dde server" error but today, it just seems to open, gets stuck, then closes off the screen while still having resources running in task manager.

Win 7

Gonna get this stuff working for 2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErK_zgEznk8

This is a user to user forum with the space provided by Adobe... but few (if any) Adobe employees read and reply here

So if another user doesn't have a solution, you aren't going to get any answers

Hi robs86615849,

I am sorry for the late reply.

Are you still experiencing the issue?

You might try removing traces of existing installation of Reader using Cleaner tool which is accessible here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Restart the computer.

Install Reader DC from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Thank You,

Shivam
