Acrobat Reader Features

What happened to the old fashioned Acrobat Reader that had some very useful tools in the top ribbon bar?  It had the familiar "File; Edit, View, Window, Help" menu bar with drop down features, like rotate pages.

All of my Adobe files now open in a tab on my Windows 10 browser.  And there are far fewer options to work with the file other than print and file.

I do subscribe to Acrobat DC.

You seem to be confusing between Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Reader... The latter is free and can't rotate pages (permanently) or anything like that. If you have a subscription then it's probably for Adobe Acrobat DC (not Reader). You just need to make sure that you open your PDF files in it and not in any other application and you'll have access to all of these functions (although the user interface of that version is quite horrible, so you'll need to look around for them).

I made an error in my previous email. I said that I subscribe to Adobe

Acrobat DC. I actually subscribe to Adobe Acrobat PDF Pack. My primary

use is to combine various separate files into one PDF, including excel,

word and pdf's.

That being said I am sure that I am very confused. Perhaps I need to try

to locate the free Reader to do what I want. For some reason all the pdfs

are being opened in a browser tab. I seem to have lost the free Reader

app. Perhaps I should just download the free Reader app and try to open

the files using that.
