Hello guys,

I'm wondering, when Adobe will publish the official download for their Acrobat Reader for Windows Server 2016?

There is still no download possibility here: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC-Installation für alle Versionen

Do you have any information about it?

Best regards

Dominik

There is only one Windows release of Acrobat Reader. Do not be misled by the download page into thinking there are different ones, it's just a convenience for end users who download. So if you have a current release of Acrobat Reader DC (having carefully chosen whether you want Continuous or Classic tracks) then the problem is somewhere else.

This page Adobe Acrobat Reader DC system requirements  shows 2016 as compatible. Download the Windows 10 download. You may need a redistribution license to install for other users.

First of thanks for moving the topic into the right section and the quick response.

We currently have the Windows 10 version on a Windows Server 2016 installed but have problems with the Adobe Reader.

When documents are opened, the reader loads sometimes serveral seconds (even if the PDF is small) and sometimes stucks while scrolling. That's why I asked for an official release for Windows Server 2016.

If that is intended for Windows 10 but also for the server, then the problem must be somewhere else on our system. It just would have been great, if Adobe gives a little hint in the link I mentioned in my first post*, that I can take the Win 10 Version as well for WS 2016.

And thank you very much again for the help.

Ok! Thank you very much!

I will look for the cause of error somewhere else then.

Have a good day!

So TSN, you are saying there is no difference between the Windows 10 version and the Server 2012 version? These are different options. If that's the case why wouldn't Adobe put up a Server 2016 link? It wouldn't make sense not to.
