Acrobat Reader Slow When Printing

When requiring to print, it took several minutes to activate my HP OfficeJet Pro 8725 to do so.

Please let me know what can be done, to make the printer or Adobe Reader to react quicker.

Thanks for reaching out. As described above, it take some time to activate the printer after clicking the print button, correct?

Would you mind sharing some more information for a better understanding:

• Are you experiencing this issue with Adobe Reader only or is the printer taking time to react with any other application as well?
• What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed? to check the version please use the link  - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html
• Try updating the application to the latest version 19.12.20040. Go to Help > Check for Updates. For more information please use the link  - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html
• Please try to repair installation (For windows only) Go to Help > Repair Installation. 
• Try to reset the preferences to default https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/How-to-reset-Acrobat-Preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792... and see if that helps 
• Also check for the printer drivers and firmwares and try updating to the latest version.
