Acrobat reader will not play video

I added an mp4 video to a PDF using the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC.  It plays fine.

I tried playing on the latest version of Acrobat Reader and it does not play.  All I see is the still image.

Any ideas on why it won't play.

As I understand Adobe's help documents it should work.
