I've noticed the Adobe Account Access sign in request several times when my Reader DC (up to date) is not active. The signin request notes timeout as the cause for action. Now I see that it appeared this time after bootup from W10 Hibernate (also up to date). Is this action normal even though no PDFs were open at the tiime of Hibernate? Thx

use your os system uninstaller to uninstall reader.first, reset the cc app:
then, if it's installed, uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer
reinstall reader, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Download | Free PDF viewer for Windows, Mac OS, Android
but make sure you untick the unwanted tag-along-ware.

Followed your steps and the issue is resolved. Thanks. I did not have cc but did have Digital Editions 4.5 which I removed, no need.
